Spring Break Boredness....

I have a whole week off....and so does my brother. So I'm stuckbabysitting him the whole week. But I haven't given up hope...yet. Going to the movies tommorow :).  I want to see Soul Surfer. I've admired Bethany Hamilton since I was in middle school. Also Arthur is coming out, I loved the trailer. It seems funny. Maybe I could even sneek in to see Your Highness. Oh well, I guess I figure it out later.

My latest obsession

Do you know the one game I have been playing all day today? Angry birds : Rio on my iphone. So addicting! If you haven't heard of angry birds than you are living in a cave, one with suprisingly good internet connection. I love those little birds than need therapy after all the walls they have demolished!

It's Friday and I'm in Love.....with Ice Cream

Friday, a teenager's dream....going out, exploring the world. Yeah, that's not what I do. I stay home, eating fruit bars, and watching That 70s Show. The only things keeping my from my freedom? Lack of a car and overprotective parents. I mean, I know they love me and want nothing to happen to me, but I will never experience anything for myself if they don't learn to let go. I will probably have to wait till college until I finally go to a party. Oh well.... back to my mango fruit bar.

Scariest thing ever!

Okay, so I was walking home and I noticed a lot of helicopters around the my neighborhood.But I kept walking. Then I saw  a cop car. The police said, " Are you walking home?" I nodded. Then he said, " We're looking for a guy that did something to a girl that was walking home like you. Have you seen anyone suspicious?" I shook my head. I ran home. As I am writing this, I can still hear the choppers. I have all the kitchen knives by my side.This is proof how unlucky I am in life. I'm going to go hide under my bed. Later.

Math is killing me slowly.....

AHHHH!!!!!! I've been studying my brains out for my math test tommorow. I don't know how some people can love this stuff. I can only write this much today. My mind has overloaded with logarithims and invisible numbers and whatnot. Later.

Pray for Japan

This morning my dad showed me a picture in the paper. It was a picture of a city before and after the earthquake hit. It was similar to this one:

Everyone is supporting Japan right now. It is the same thing that happened in Haiti. But what I still don't get is why does it take a huge disaster to bond people? Why does there have to be suffering for people to finally do something? Still it's good that all these people are getting help. There's even a album " Songs For Japan" out.The death toll is over 20,000 with many missing. It seems hopeless, but there are so many moments that fill people with joy. Like this video.

I don't understand it but the message is universal. I just hope everything turn out okay.

IS SEEKING BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been into music in all my fifteen years of life, so what else can I do but start a band. So I started a search but I ran into one small problem: none of my friends have any musical talent whatsoever. I mean yeah some of my friends can play guitar, but they are around the same level of knowledge as I am on my guitar. I mean I'm no Slash, but I have the basics covered. Somer are like, " Oh I want to learn how to play" and I'm thinking " Well I want a million dollars, but wanting is not going to help me achieve anything." I mean, I'm not expecting to be super rockers overnight but it would be nice to meet people who fell the way I do about music. I'll keep you posted on any updates I have on the band front.

Also, I want to inform you peoples about the free songs on itunes that I get every week. This week is:
Beautiful Girl-William Fitzsimmons. It's like almost every love ballad: the soft acoustic guitar accompanied by a piano with the singer singing softly with deep meaningfulness.
Die Trying- The Art of Dying. This is harder rock.The band is similar to Three Days Grace. So if you like them, get this song.
Conversion- Straight Line Stich. This song is metal. It has the vocals of of a sweet sounding girl Alexis Brown mixed with death metal. Wierd combo, but it works.

At The Movies

Ahhh, the movies. An escape from reality. But do you know what movie I really want to see? It's not Beastly, I Am Number Four, and definetly not the lastest Twilight movie. Suprisingly it's Rio. Yes, Rio the movie about an adorable blue bird.

It seems like it's been a good year for animated movies. I've liked every single one.  Except for Mars Need Moms. That was just stupid. Rango was funny and entertaining. I love movies like this. It brings out my inner child.

A random day today, I really should film the weirdness in my life, and I was bored and looking at music videos of my favorite bands on youtube. I love the Strokes ( especially Julian Casablancas). So I was looking at thier newest single:

The best part is that on itunes this week, it's FREE! Yes people I said free. So I would hurry up and download it if I were you. I also get itunes free songs every week. The songs are good and I can never say no to free.

Awesome new website.

Hello peoples! Well like any teenage girl , I am into fashion. I really like going online and looking at clothes. ( I swear I'm not a self obsessed person. Ok I can be sometimes but overall I'm not.) So I found this cool new website called Polyvore.com. It is awesome!!!! Basically you are able to create your own dashboard and fill it with items you like. Other people can see it and the best part is if you liek an item, polyvore directs you to the website to buy it. I just joined yesterday and here are some of the sets I have made so far:

ok so I'm not the best designer out there.But it's cool. It really is a good site to check out.

First Entry

Hello people,
This first entry will be about my intrests and generally about me. Ok I am a sophmore living in Southern California. My main intrests are music and film.My favorite bands are The Cure, the Strokes, Fugazi, Kings Of Leon, and Coldplay. Some movies I have seen that have intrested me are Inception, Changeling, and Tron. I guess you could call me a dork. I am smiling most of the time and right now I just want to enjoy life.
